Introducing the Whiteboard

We're excited to launch one of our most requested features: a full-featured Whiteboard built right into Monospace. No more switching between your project management tool and a separate drawing app.

What can you do with it?

The Whiteboard comes with 19 tools:

• Shapes — Rectangle, rounded rectangle, ellipse, diamond, triangle, star, and polygon
• Lines & Arrows — Straight lines, arrows with customisable arrowheads, and smart connectors
• Freehand — Pressure-sensitive pen for natural drawing, plus a highlighter
• Text & Sticky Notes — Place text anywhere, or use sticky notes in 6 colours
• Utility — Eraser, frame, and laser pointer for presentations

Real-Time Collaboration

When multiple people open the same whiteboard, you'll see each other's cursors with their name and a unique colour. Changes sync every 500ms.

Infinite Canvas

Pan with Space+drag, zoom with scroll wheel, and use Ctrl+0 to fit everything into view.

Customise Everything

The properties panel lets you change stroke colour (12 presets), fill, width, opacity, stroke style, and roughness. Your default stroke colour matches your accent colour.

Keyboard Shortcuts

V=Select, R=Rectangle, O=Ellipse, D=Diamond, L=Line, A=Arrow, P=Pen, T=Text, E=Eraser, H=Pan. Ctrl+Z/Y for undo/redo.

Export as PNG at 2x resolution.
